Job Posting: Private Events Manager

The Private Events Manager position at World Cafe Live offers a great opportunity for a talented, creative, and energetic sales professional to bring their dedication and excitement to several event spaces in Philadelphia, as well as develop new opportunities. The World Cafe Live footprint includes two separate spaces: a cafe and restaurant that accommodates 120 seated or 200 standing, and a separate dazzling music hall that comfortably seats 300 and expands to accommodate 650 standing. In each space you can expect flawless sound, lighting, and video, on-site production and catering, flexible seating, and adjacent secure parking. The Private Events Manager will oversee every aspect of the affairs from the first phone call through the end of a successful event.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Private Events Manager will be responsible for selling, detailing, and executing all Private Events for the Philadelphia venue. This is a full-time position.

World Cafe Live is an independent music venue in the heart of Philadelphia, PA. In addition to over 500 shows annually, World Cafe Live offers great food and beverages daily, and hosts and caters over two hundred special events a year. Quantity intersects with quality at the venue; WCL’s staff has a joint mission to bring established artists to an intimate setting that is both artist and audience friendly, while concurrently introducing the best emerging national and international talent since 2004. The Talent Buyer position at World Cafe Live offers a great opportunity for a talented, creative, and energetic professional to bring their dedication and excitement to two stages in Philadelphia, as well as new developing opportunities in our “WCL Presents” series. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Talent Buyer will be responsible for programming, booking, and promoting shows and events on both stages of the Philadelphia venue. This is a full-time position.

In addition to over 500 shows annually, World Cafe Live offers great food and beverages daily, and hosts and caters over 200 special events a year.
